Greengables high school is a Christian boarding school located 22km out of Bulawayo CBD in Zimbabwe. It is well situated, next to one of the nation’s treasured heritage sites Khami Ruins. The school offers a wide curriculum of academic studies including practical subjects, sporting activities and other important life skills. It’s diversity in learner enrolment has placed it at the top of being an all-inclusive school. The highly qualified staff compliment ensures the satisfaction of all clients. Fourth IR teaching methods are employed by all facilitators. Classrooms are well designed to provide the most conducive learning environment.
OUR HISTORY
.GREENGABLES HIGH SCHOOL in Bulawayo was established in February 2010 as a mission school for girls and boys by the Apostolic Faith Church of Portland Oregon. It was registered as a secondary school in terms of the Education Act, 1979 as a mission school. In 2020, Greengables was privatised and has continued to grow in all aspects.Greengables High School now offers both ZIMSEC and CAMBRIDGE CURRICULUM.

OUR BOARDING FACILITIES
Greengables has boarding hostels that can accommodate 350 girls and boys. Our hostels are comfortable and are currently under rennovation to align them with modern trends in other elite boarding schools. So far our junior boys hostel has been completed with ensuite rooms for every four boys and by january this will be uniform for all our students Our students have five meals including a snack.The school has security personel to keep the students safe always , there is also a boarding master and a matron taking care of the students 24/7, teachers also alternate boarding duties.The school has genarator ,solar power and a borehole as backup to support the school and ensure a comftable healthy enviroment for the children at all times.
OUR HOSTELS

A DAY AT GREENGABLES
A day at Greengables starts with bath time at 5am, followed by early morning study and breakfast there after. Lessons start at 8am, break is at 10:50 am and Lunch is at 13:15 pm. After lunch there are afternoon lessons on Monday, Thursday and Friday. Tuesday afternoons are reserved for Church services, Wednesday afternoons are reserved for sports and clubs. Classes ends at 4:30 from Monday to Thursday and at 3:30pm on Friday. When school ends learners can retire to their hostels after picking up their snack from the DH at 4:45pm. Dinner is served at 7pm, there after learners go for study up to 9pm.

Our DH meals are the best, a balance between healthy and tasty prepared by professional chefs.
Modern Classrooms
To enhance self-directed learning, creativity and innovation ,access to information critical thinking and problem solving at Greengables High School, our learners use their ipads, laptops and tablets during lessons. The provision of Wi-Fi services has enabled the Greengables High School community to attain our record results. A control system has been put in place to curb abuse of these gadgets.Facilitators are also exposed to a pool of ICT based teaching methods.
